Itinerary
Welcome to Colombo and transfer to Kandy. Enjoy lunch, tea/coffee and snacks enroute. Check into your hotel and relax. Enjoy a glass of red or white South African wine as a welcome drink. Dinner and overnight stay in Kandy at the hotel. Note: At 1330 hours, our representative will meet and greet all the guests and assist with the transfer to Kandy. Guests who require a separate transfer due to arriving late or who do not wish to wait can do this by paying an additional supplement for the transfer.
Morning Breakfast at the hotel. Full day city tour, visiting the below attractions- Pinnawela elephant orphanage (home to orphaned elephants) Spice garden (learn about Sri Lanka’s renowned spices and enjoy an optional head massage) Temple of the sacred tooth relic (a significant pilgrimage site) Kandy batik factory (discover the intricate art of batik, a centuries-old technique) Gem archade and museum (Learn about Sri Lanka's famous gem trade) Enjoy lunch, tea/coffee and snacks enroute.
